We understand that in business you need to trust the people you rely on, your partners, your staff and your trusted external companies. You wouldn't choose your accountant, solicitor or financial advisor without asking for references so we don't see why you would do the same with an IT company that may have even more access to your data than you do personally!
Its great checking technical qualifcations, and its better to know that to become a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner involves submitting customer references in order to gain compentencies in solutions such as Networking, even more so to know that to get enough points to make it to the top level of Gold Certified Partner you need to have at least two MCP's on staff, and submit at least 20 customer statisfaction surveys, with a higher than average score!
But whats better than having a list of local companies like yours who you can contact to confirm what we are saying is truthful and their opinion on us in general?

We support two of their offices with the main office having roughly ten computers/laptops, we provided network wiring, routers, hubs, and switches throughout the building and wireless for laptops.
Their main server runs Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 and their branch office has a Windows Server 2003 R2 Server. Applications used with the business are support for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Office 2003 & Office 2007. They use Sage Line 50 and Payroll Line 50 throughout the company.
We also offer support for bespoke sofware which controls their clocking in-machine and CCTV systems.
H&A Waste our Gold Supported customer who use us an outsourced IT Department. We have a same-day response guarantee for emergencies and offer remote support to all their hardware and our new Advanced Server monitoring solutions. We have been working with them since 2003 when they only had two old computers and no persistant Internet connection. We have supplied all their printers, computers etc or arranged for our local partners to do the jobs they require.
Recently we supplied their sales staff Vista Laptops with intregrated 3G modules so they can access their files and email on the move from the works server.
During that time we installed CAT5 throughout the building, during a renovation project to create a new office, and supplied several new computers.
In December 2007 we supplied a branch office Windows 2003 Server to take load of their WAN connection, and give a central place for the branch office to backup.
Both branch managers get daily client reports from our monitoring system, and enjoy our top level of support.

We started working with Ellerslee in 2006 when there business outgrew there simple peer-to-peer network. We were asked along with several other local suppliers to offer our network suggestions. Our suggestion was a Microsoft Small Business Server to form the heart of their network. Dell supplied the server due to existing leasing arrangements, and we were chosen above the others to install, configure the Server and all the Desktop computers.
Since then we have had a Service Level Agreement with Ellerslee which has recently upgraded to support the growth of their network and business. In February 2008 we shall be provided our office moving solution to Ellerslee when they move to their new business unit, this will include Cat 5 networking, server, telephone, switchs, cabients as well as handling ADSL, Telephone and other service on a smooth transition. We also support Ellerslee on the development and marketing of their web site, and we are planning the installation of Microsoft Project Server at their new offices after the move.

"Coroners are Independent Judicial Officers. This means that no one can tell them or direct them as to what they should do but they must follow the laws & regulations which apply. The country has a number of Coroners who are appointed for specific geographical areas."
In Cornwall there is only one Coroners office, based in Truro this office handles all the workload for the county, using bespoke Coroners software.
In early 2007 we were chosen to visit, design and quote for a solution to replace the peer-to-peer network currently being used, the solution needed to be secure and offer robust data protection as their budget would allow. We also needed to replace aging hardware and expand the network into a new office which was being built.
In May 2007 after a final meeting between the County Council, ourselves, Dr. Emma Carlyon (HM Coroner), her staff and the local Police, our quotation was accepted above the others (including one proposed by the County Council's own IT department).
Once chosen the solution was implemented within 14 days and now the Coroners are running a secure solution which allows them all to have email, handles the hundreds of faxes they send daily and offers a robust backup model.
We now enjoy a rolling ongoing support contract which includes daily monitoring and remote support to the Coroners and their staff in the local Truro office.

C&J Autos are a busy scrap yard and breakdown/crash recovery agent who have contracts with the AA & Police for the Cornwall area.
We started working with C&J Autos in 2004 when they were still running a mix of DOS and Windows 95 computers. We initially replaced these computers with ones running Windows XP.
We helped migrate their line of business applications such as Turbo Dispatch & Garage Manager over to Windows based versions, and also made sure DOS programs which couldn't be replaced, continued to function on Windows XP.
Since then we have again replaced some of these computers again, and in 2007 we fitted their first Microsoft Small Business Server.
We recently installed a CCTV system to compliment the system they already had to monitor the office areas. We have set both systems up to allow the owner to monitor them from his laptop and/or his PDA. Our systems record all telephone conversations onto the network, by Caller ID, Date & Time for security reasons, as well as keeping this data backed up, both onto Tape and our online backup solution.

GIGB Limited in Falmouth are the leading specialists in LED lighting, with work being commisions by No. 10 Downing Street, the Eden project Ian Bibby of GIGB is a lighting genius - however their I.T. systems were more like candle power!
In summer of 2007 we were asked to visit GIGB to provide a quotation on the replacement of their Server. After only two hours of our advice, and our quotation, business owners Madeleine and Iain Bibby accepted our recommendations to scrap their old NT4 Server, and replace/upgrade all computers running Windows 98 to a mix of Windows XP & Vista for the new machines.
Within three days of our initial meeting to fit in with the urgent needs of GIGB we had supplied a Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 server, one new Vista computer, and had upgraded the rest to Windows XP. All line of business applications were moved and we intregrated our server with their existing INTY EcoServer which was acting as an ADSL router and POP3 email server.
The biggest advantage we offered to GIGB was a backup solution and a faster performing network, as well as a robust email solution.
Since then we have offered continued support their own IT Staff, in November we replaced their personal laptops, and fix a home broadband issue which had been ongoing for over two years! Now the owners are able to work on their files from home and we are planning on helping them upgrade to Sage 2008 as v11 becomes end of life.
